The proven collection of forms “Beck'sche Online-Formulare - BeckOF” has so far been based on traditional text templates. In order to offer customers even more flexibility, it was to be supplemented by interactive and individually configurable contract templates. These new templates were introduced under the name “Beck'sche Interaktiv-Formulare - BeckIF”.
The “Beck'schen Online-Formulare” offer customers of “beck-online.DIE DATENBANK” annotated and linked text templates for legal and notarial advice and representation. More than 3,500 templates are created and updated by around 200 authors and published quarterly in “beck-online” after quality control by editors and proofreaders. Subscribers to the relevant modules can view and download the documents there and then customize and process them in their own software environment.
By integrating LAWLIFT, it was possible to develop interactive contract templates based on the existing “BeckOF” form content, which customers can compose, edit, individualize and export directly in their browser. The main contract contents (e.g. contractual parties, services and consideration, main and ancillary agreements, dates and deadlines) can be adjusted directly in the document using LAWLIFT depending on the use case, and based on the question catalogs designed with the authors. This procedure makes it easier for the user to find the appropriate contract variant and speeds up the preparation of the document.
As all contract modules and their legal implications are created, checked and, if necessary, updated by experienced experts from the legal profession and notary's offices, legal certainty and up-to-dateness are always guaranteed. Customers can show or hide the detailed legal information depending on their interests and requirements.
Thanks to the use of LAWLIFT, the employment law modules in “beck-online.DIE DATENBANK” have been expanded to include interactive and dynamic templates, which have been available to customers online as “BeckIF” for several months and are increasingly being used. The templates for the employment contract for managing directors, the employment contract for senior executives and the termination agreement are in particularly high demand. In the last 3 months, over 3,700 documents have been created, including more than 1,400 in the last four weeks alone, and the trend is rising.
A particular advantage is that customers can now create the forms intuitively and interactively in the browser and continue to edit them in their familiar Word environment after export. This not only makes it easier to use, but also considerably simplifies the maintenance of the templates by C.H.BECK and the partner law firm. At the same time, users benefit from a faster, less complicated and more user-friendly service.
Thanks to this innovative solution, users save time, increase their accuracy and can create legally compliant documents “at the touch of a button”. With BeckIF, C.H. BECK not only increases the efficiency of its customers, but also actively supports them in optimizing their work processes and providing modern legal services.
